7/20/14 Long Run Day
Nice long run today, it was a bit humid but cooler temps and a good breeze helps.
I tried to keep my pace at about 10 minute miles and I was able to do that.
With my average pace being 9:55 for the run.
I felt pretty good and will need to try to keep to my training schedule for the next few weeks. It’s going to be challenging as my work schedule is getting kind of nuts. Mostly due to projects coming to an end and my vacation starting on the 1st of August.
7/13/14 Recovery Run
Tried to keep the pace around 10 minute miles. So the first mile was a bit fast. It all evened out in the end.
I can’t wait for the humidity to get out of here. It was about 84% when I was out running. The temps were cooler that made it bearable but it still needs to go.
With the threat of bad weather I was out on the roads early.
The temps were cooler but the humidity was 83%
I felt good and the ache in my right knee was not an issue.
I did have some allergy problems so it was hard to breathe through my nose for about 2 miles.
Not a big problem and I only ate 2 bugs. … I think.
